The Sharjah Police General Command has announced a new partnership with Noon to simplify the process of submitting vehicle license plates. This initiative allows customers to hand over their plates to a designated Noon representative, who will then transport the items directly to the Traffic and Licensing Service Centres under the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department.
By integrating this field service with existing digital platforms, the police aim to reduce the need for in-person visits to service centers. Customers can initiate the process by using approved digital services through the Ministry of Interior’s “MOI UAE” application or via the official traffic and licensing portals. Once the plates are successfully received by the authorities, the customer will be notified via a confirmation text message. This notification enables them to finalize their remaining licensing transactions entirely online through the Ministry’s smart applications.
This service is part of a broader effort by the Sharjah Police General Command to enhance traffic services by leveraging modern technology and creating a more flexible, efficient customer experience. By linking physical logistics with digital channels, the initiative aims to streamline the overall transaction journey for vehicle owners, ensuring that essential licensing procedures can be completed with greater convenience and speed.
