Azizi Developments is set to launch its latest large-scale real estate project, Azizi Florence, in Sharjah on September 10, 2026. The massive development is valued at Dh30 billion and features a comprehensive residential masterplan designed entirely by the company’s in-house engineering team.
The project is set to provide a significant boost to the local housing market, comprising 1,130 villas, more than 6,000 townhouses, and 3,500 apartments. These units are being developed to meet high international standards for modern construction and residential living.
For Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Developments, the project represents a significant personal milestone. He describes the development as a homecoming to Sharjah, the emirate that first welcomed him to the UAE 32 years ago. Reflecting on his arrival in 1995, Azizi recalled visiting the country to explore business opportunities while running a trading firm in Central Asia. The hospitality he received during that initial five-day trip inspired him to relocate his family to a villa in Sharjah just three months later.
Azizi noted that his early years in the emirate, which included watching his children head to school and taking evening walks along the Al Buhaira Corniche, left a lasting impression. He views the new project as a gesture of gratitude toward the emirate that served as the starting point for his career in the UAE.
Beyond its scale, Azizi Florence is designed as a green, nature-oriented community. The masterplan includes extensive landscaped areas, botanical gardens, and a signature 1.7-million-square-foot Central Park. The development aims to foster a vibrant social atmosphere through various amenities, including picnic spots, a weekend market, and dedicated community gathering spaces.
Cultural and recreational facilities are central to the community’s design, featuring a cinema, a 3,000-seat amphitheatre, and an Art and Culture Plaza. Residents will also have access to a community mall, six clubhouses, and a 1,000-seat ballroom, supported by 24/7 facilities management.
Health and wellness infrastructure is integrated throughout the site, offering residents access to spas, gyms, and swimming pools. Active lifestyle options include 12 kilometers of dedicated jogging and cycling tracks.
The community is designed to be self-sufficient, incorporating a school capable of accommodating 1,000 students. Religious needs are addressed through the inclusion of two Jumma mosques and additional prayer halls located within each residential cluster.
The launch of Azizi Florence follows the success of other major projects by the developer, such as Burj Azizi and Azizi Venice in Dubai. The chairman emphasized that this project marks a new chapter for the firm as it expands its footprint across the UAE, contributing to the country’s ongoing growth and prosperity. The report also notes that today, my family and I proudly call the UAE home, and we are deeply grateful to have been part of this country’s extraordinary journey. The report also notes that in many ways, every bit as fascinating as the journey itself, yet the story of how it all began 32 years ago is. The report also notes that back in 1995, while running an international trading business in Central Asia, I entered into a business transaction with a company in the UAE – a country I had never visited and knew very little about at the time. The report also notes that and my business partners subsequently invited me to Sharjah to meet with them and explore opportunities for expanding our business relationship, the transaction proved successful for both sides. The report also notes that the welcome and generosity I experienced during that five-day visit far exceeded anything I could have imagined. The report also notes that it was a wonderful blend of the UAE’s legendary hospitality and a warmth and openness that made me feel immediately at home. The report also notes that that visit would remain with me forever as a truly life-changing experience.
