UAE-based developer Arada has unveiled plans for a Dh5 billion residential project in Broadbeach, marking its first major development outside of New South Wales. The twin-tower complex will feature 952 homes, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences.
The project is strategically located opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre, providing residents with proximity to the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and The Star Gold Coast. The site also offers direct access to local light rail infrastructure.
Project Specifications and Amenities
- Design: Conceptualized by Plus Studio.
- Construction: Executed by Roberts Co, a tier-one contractor acquired by Arada in 2025.
- Residential Features: Landscaped podium connecting the towers, swimming pools, fitness and wellness centers, communal terraces, private dining areas, a library, lounge, and dedicated work-from-home spaces.
- Retail Space: Approximately 1,200 square metres of ground-floor area designated for hospitality and retail tenants.
Arada Group CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi emphasized the strategic advantage of the firm’s internal construction capabilities. “Delivering this project through Roberts Co, our own tier-one construction business, means we can bring the quality, pace and accountability that our buyers expect,” he stated.
The development is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This project represents Arada’s largest commitment in Australia since entering the market in 2024, bringing its total regional pipeline to eight projects and more than 5,000 homes.
The company continues to diversify its global operations, recently launching ‘Arada Capital’ to target $5 billion in assets. Other notable activities include the development of the ‘The Yards’ masterplan in Dubai’s City of Arabia, the introduction of Swiss Cottage apartments in London, and the launch of the Elinor project in Dubai South.
