England beat the Netherlands by 160 runs in their eighth match in the World Cup. As a result of this victory, the English have risen to the 7th place in the points list. It also kept alive the hope of playing the Champions Trophy.
England scored 339 runs on Ben Stokes’ century and David Malan’s and Chris Woakes’ double fifties. Chasing the target, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid’s spin whirled the Dutch out for just 179 with 76 balls remaining.
