The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that security agencies successfully foiled a terrorist plot aimed at a vital facility within the country. Following a period of intensive monitoring and surveillance, authorities apprehended a Kuwaiti national affiliated with Daesh before he could execute his planned attack.
According to an official statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency, investigations revealed that the suspect had received specialized training in the manufacture of explosives and drones. The individual had already constructed a drone with the explicit intention of using it to carry out the terrorist plot against the targeted facility.
In a related development, authorities also confirmed the arrest of two minors in Kuwait in connection with an alleged attack plot. These apprehensions highlight the ongoing security challenges facing the nation as officials work to identify and neutralize potential threats before they materialize.
