All Indian nationals presently in Bangladesh are advised to exercise extreme caution, restrict their movements
India has advised its nationals not to travel to Bangladesh amid the ongoing political situation.
Those who are living in Bangladesh are also advised to maintain extreme caution and remain in touch with the local mission.
“In view of ongoing developments, Indian nationals are strongly advised against traveling to Bangladesh till further notice,” the External Affairs Ministry said.
“All Indian nationals presently in Bangladesh are advised to exercise extreme caution, restrict their movements, and remain in contact with the High Commission of India in Dhaka through their emergency numbers 01958-383 679; 01958-383 680; 01937-400 591,” read the statement.
