The police are bound to do whatever the government tells them to do. There is little opportunity for policemen to play their own role here. As a result, the policemen have done many unethical things on the orders of the government. It is true that the police have wronged the public. But that is certain policemen, not all.
A senior police officer said, “The government that will come, the police will act according to the orders of the government.” This is police policy. What the police have done in the past is not the police’s own work. It forced the government to do so. The next government that comes, the police will protect the lives of the public and control the law and order situation according to the government’s orders.
He also said, ‘We want to appeal to the people of the country, do not misunderstand us. Police are people’s friends. The police want to work together with the public.
