New Delhi, the capital of India, is still covered in thick fog. As a result, 134 flights and 22 trains have been delayed. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab till December 31.
According to a report on Thursday (December 28), traffic on roads and railways is being disrupted due to thick fog. Hundreds of flights have been delayed today like yesterday. Delhi and its surrounding areas were shrouded in thick fog after the temperature dropped to 6 degrees Celsius in the morning. Because of this, 134 flights and 22 trains have been delayed.
It is reported that at 5:30 am on Thursday, the visibility in Delhi’s Safdarjung observatory dropped to 50 meters. And the visibility of Palam observatory near Delhi airport drops to 25 meters. Besides, visibility ranged between 50 and 25 meters in Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Dense fog spread from Punjab to East Uttar Pradesh to Haryana-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh.
