In implementation of the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) announced the employment of 1,524 citizens and children of female citizens between Jan. 5, 2026, and July 30, 2026.
According to Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the SDHR, 871 of these individuals were placed in centralized entities, while 653 were hired by decentralized entities. The demographic breakdown includes 831 males and 693 females.
“Starting tomorrow, we will begin targeting job applications registered with SDHR to complete the 2026 employment plan, bringing the total number to 3,000 jobs,” Al Zaabi added.
