The Grand Final of Quran Competition 2024 was held in month-long Tilawat on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan with Bangladeshi children and teenagers living in the United Arab Emirates.
Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Association Dubai Alhaj Mohammad Yakub Sainik presided over the grand finale, prize distribution and iftar ceremony organized by Bangladesh Business Forum UAE.
On Sunday (March 31), the top 25 contestants were awarded at a ceremony organized at Ajman Umm Momineen Women’s Association.
300 Bangladeshi children and teenagers living in the United Arab Emirates participated in this online competition, which lasted for about a month, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.
Among them, 10 children in A group and 10 children in B group and 5 children were awarded to Hafez. More than five hundred expatriates living in the UAE were present at the award ceremony.
Shahadat Hossain said in the speech of the special guest in this event jointly hosted by Kamal Sumon and Ismail, participation in this competition will help these children and teenagers to build an Islamic life in the coming days.
This competition is running since 2018. The organizers hope to continue this series of events in the coming days even though it has been postponed in 2020 and 21 during the Corona period. Call upon the wealthy to come forward to sponsor such events.
