A Spanish couple went on a bike trip to Asia. After visiting several countries, they visited Bangladesh via Pakistan. Then go to India. The Spanish woman was gang-raped there. The incident took place in the Indian state of Jharkhand on Friday (March 1) night.
On Friday (March 1), the victim couple was going to Bihar’s Bhagalpur via Dumka by bike. On the way decided to spend the night in a tent in Hansdiha area. And this happened there. At this time, the Spanish couple was also tortured. The country’s police arrested three of the seven rapists on Saturday.
Dumkar Superintendent of Police Pitambar Singh Khairwar said that after coming from West Bengal, the biker couple was going towards Nepal through Jharkhand region. Dumkar pitched a temporary tent in the village of Kunji and decided to spend the evening as it was getting late. That’s where the incident happened. At night, the patrolling police rescued the couple from the road in an injured state.
He further said that the victim woman has been medically examined. A Special Investigation Team has been formed for further investigation and forensic experts have also been appointed. The police went to the spot on Friday night. The case is under investigation and the arrested persons are being interrogated. The woman is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sariahat Community Health Centre.
