Former MNA and National Democratic Movement (NDM) chief Mohsin Dawar was shot dead during a rally protesting the election results in Miranshah.
He was taken to a district hospital in North Waziristan on Saturday, his party leader Bushra Gohar said.
Mohsin’s body was hit by multiple bullets, party spokesperson Bushra Gohar said. He was shot at while protesting against the election results.
Bushra Gohar condemned the ‘cowardly attack’ on Mohsin. Besides, he blamed the ECP for this attack.
Gohar said, besides Mohsin, several others were shot. Many others were injured.
He also demanded the Deputy Commissioner to take quick action on the attack.
