Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of the restrictions imposed on the guns by US President Joe Biden. If he is re-elected, Biden has vowed to roll back gun restrictions.
Trump said these things at an event organized by the National Rifle Association (NRA) on Friday (February 9).
In a speech at the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Trump said Biden’s attacks on gun owners and manufacturers would be stopped in the first week or day if he became president.
The NRA supported Trump during the 2016 election campaign and throughout his presidency. That’s why Trump urgently reviewed the support of firearms owners in order to be re-elected. He continued to openly support them. Friday said no one can point the finger at gun owners if he is re-elected.
The Democratic National Committee put up a billboard in Harrisburg citing Trump’s comments after the school shooting in Iowa last January. Trump then asked the families of those killed and injured to overcome their grief and move on. The billboard read, ‘Donald Trump To Victims Of Gun Violence: Get Over It’.
