Britain’s King Charles III has been admitted to hospital for prostate treatment. This information was announced in a statement from Buckingham Palace on Friday.
“The King was admitted to a London hospital on Friday morning for scheduled treatment,” the statement said.
Earlier last week, the palace announced that King Charles III, 75, will undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
The statement added that the King would like to thank all those who wished him a speedy recovery last week.
Meanwhile, Charles was seen entering London Clinic Hospital with Queen Camilla on Friday morning. However, there is no word from the palace about how long he will stay in the hospital. Members of Britain’s royal family do not usually disclose details of illnesses. Because they treat medical matters as personal matters.
Notably, Charles ascended the throne in September 2022 after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
