The famous Hollywood actor of German origin died in a plane crash. Police say actor Christian Oliver’s small plane crashed into the Caribbean Sea shortly after takeoff. He died there along with two daughters.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in the Caribbean region said in a statement that they were killed when a single-engine private plane crashed on Thursday (04 January).
After the incident, fishermen, divers and coast guards immediately went to the spot. Later, four dead bodies were recovered from there. Oliver, 51, his two daughters Madita (10) and Annik (12) and pilot Robert Sachs were killed in the crash.
The plane was reportedly en route to Saint Lucia from Bequia, a small island in the Grenadines, shortly after noon on Thursday. It is believed that they were going on holiday. Oliver posted a photo of a tropical beach on Instagram a few days ago. Where the caption is written, ‘Greetings from somewhere in heaven! For community and love… 2024 (here) we come!”
Oliver has worked on the big screen opposite George Clooney in The Good German and the 2008 action-comedy Speed Racer. The actor’s early career roles include the TV series ‘Saved by the Bell: The New Class’ and the movie ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’.
