Pakistan won the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai by a huge margin of 8 wickets against their arch-rivals on Sunday. Batting first after losing the toss, India scored 263 runs for 2 wickets with 18 balls in hand in response to 259 runs for 9 wickets.
This is Pakistan’s record for the highest number of runs chased against India at the U-19 level. Earlier in 2013, they had the last laugh chasing a target of 251 runs in Dubai.
Left-handed opener Adarsh Singh led India’s innings first. He played an innings of 62 runs off 81 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. After his departure, the team lost 5 wickets for 158 runs.
