Dubai Civil Defence has confirmed that a fire broke out on Tuesday night at a workshop located in the Dubai South district. According to an official statement released by the Dubai Media Office on Wednesday, the blaze originated within the workshop before spreading to several trucks and caravans parked nearby.
Emergency response teams were dispatched to the site and successfully extinguished the flames. Authorities have reported that there were no injuries resulting from the incident.
While the fire has been brought under control, officials have not yet disclosed the specific cause of the workshop accident or provided an assessment of the total material damage. Further information regarding the event is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
This incident follows a series of recent fire-related reports in the region, including a blaze at an orphanage in Algeria that resulted in 11 deaths, as well as separate containment efforts for a tower fire in Ajman and a restaurant fire near Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
