The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued an administrative closure order for So Great Restaurant, which operates under trade licence no. CN-4897186. The facility was shut down for violating Law No. 2 of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its associated regulations, as the establishment was found to pose a danger to public health.
ADAFSA stated that the closure followed a food control report documenting repeated violations of safety requirements. The restaurant failed to correct these issues despite prior warnings, necessitating immediate intervention to ensure consumer safety and maintain health standards across the emirate.
The administrative closure will remain in effect until the restaurant fulfills all necessary requirements for healthy and safe food preparation. ADAFSA noted that this enforcement action is part of a broader plan to strengthen the regional food safety system, emphasizing that all food facilities are subject to regular inspections to ensure proactive consumer protection.
