Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated on Monday that Tehran is not currently engaged in talks with the United States. Instead, the country is in discussions with Oman regarding a potential temporary safe route through the Strait of Hormuz.
Baghaei emphasized that an agreement with Oman would not be enough to reopen the waterway, asserting that the situation will remain unchanged while U.S. “aggression” continues.
