150 guests attended the wedding of groom Paolo Mugnani and bride Valerie Yabra in Pistoia, Italy. The wedding guests and the bride and groom were having fun on the dance floor. Suddenly a part of that stage collapsed. 39 people including the bride and groom were injured.
Six of the injured are in critical condition. The injured were admitted to San Jacopo Hospital in Pistoia. Mugnani and Yabra spent the most memorable day of their lives at the hospital, even though they were supposed to go home after the wedding.
Bar Mugnani told a local media that the dance floor suddenly collapsed. Immediately they could not understand anything. Later found them lying on top of each other.
Groom Paolo Mugnani couldn’t find American-Italian bride Valerie Yabra in the early stages. At that time he got scared.
The venue managers of the wedding ceremony told local media that they do not know how the incident happened. The venue was closed after the accident. Meanwhile, the injured newlyweds have filed a case against the venue authorities.
