Pakistan and India’s reciprocal drone and missile attacks are pushing the two countries towards a full-scale war. In such a situation, US President Donald Trump has opened his mouth.
In a post on social media Truth on Saturday (May 10), he said that India and Pakistan have agreed to a ‘complete and immediate ceasefire’.
Trump wrote in a statement, ‘After a long night of negotiations mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries for using great intelligence.’

Earlier, Islamabad launched ‘Operation Bunyanum Marsus’ in response to India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ military operation and attacks on three Pakistan Air Force bases. As part of this operation, Pakistan’s defense forces attacked 11 Indian military installations on Friday night.
In such a situation, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir on Saturday (May 10) morning. He urged both sides to find ways to de-escalate tensions
and offered US assistance in starting constructive talks to avoid future conflict. This was followed by Trump’s comments on the two countries’ agreement to a ceasefire.
