An Egyptian man committed suicide by shooting and killing three people including the owner of the company after being fired. The incident happened at a shipping company in Glyfada, the capital of Greece, Athens.
The accused person was dismissed from his job a few days ago. To take revenge, he entered the office and shot three people hostage. Later he committed suicide.
A rifle was found next to the body. It is believed that this weapon was used in the murder.
An employee of the shipping company who witnessed the incident said, I heard the first two shots and went towards the stairs to see what was happening. I saw two people coming down and saying, Aris has brought a gun, shooting. I walked out the back door of the garage.
According to police, the gunman entered the building and shot and killed two male and one female staff members. He later shot himself. The gunman is a citizen of Egypt, aged 70 years. According to the police, the owner of the company is also among the dead.
