‘BONDHON’, the organization of Bangladeshi expatriates in the UAE, arranged the National Day of UAE and the Great Independence Day of Bangladesh like every year. The 52 National Day of UAE was celebrated
About 1.2 million or more Bangladeshis live in United Arab Emirates in search of livelihood and this Emirates is not native land for those expatriate Bangladeshi. Therefore, the culture and national events of this countries are respected by the expatriate Bangladeshi and others also. This Saturday 2nd December was the 52 National Day of United Arab Emirates. As like as every year, National Day road rally and family picnic organized by ‘Bondhon’.
The rally starting from Sharjah National Park in a convoy of hundreds of vehicles of expatriates arrived Y-S Farm House at Madam in Sharjah. The event started with the both countries UAE and Bangladesh national anthem and joyful rally.
In the half of thousand presence of expatriate Bangladeshis, the venue turn to a little Bangladesh.
All guest & host find themselves in a out of routine work day which is deferent from their daily clockwise scheduled, children are apart from the sports got busy in various events too.
The variety of food arrangements was mouthwatering; specially all are enjoy pitha (traditional cake) and jhal muri (Bangladeshi puff rice mixed) in a separate event that make everyone full of praise for the organizers.
On the officially declared 3 days holiday, Building, roads, symbolic structure of every city are decorated with national flags and colorful lights.

Open discussion and cultural program also organized in this day long event. In addition to awarding prizes to three people in three deferent categories by selecting the best costume, also other guest were awarded with various prizes in various game shows and raffle draws too.
