Israeli forces have killed 6 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin during the ongoing four-day ceasefire.
The Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Authority reported this information
Four Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire during an incursion into the city of Jenin on Saturday, according to reports. Israeli forces surrounded a house near Jenin early this morning and attacked with powerful weapons. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old doctor was killed outside his home and another Palestinian in El-Bireh area near Ramallah.
Video footage circulating on social media showed helicopters flying over military vehicles entering the city.
Meanwhile, the ongoing four-day ceasefire between the Palestinian armed group Hamas and Israel may be extended. Dia Rashwan, head of Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS), announced the information on Saturday (November 25).
He said that they have received positive signals in this regard from all sides of the war. If the ceasefire is extended, it may be one or two days, he said.
In a statement released on Saturday, the head of the State Information Service also said that Egypt is holding extensive talks with all parties to the war to extend the ceasefire by a day or two. Which means that if the truce is extended, more hostages will be released from Gaza and more Palestinians will be released from Israeli prisons.
Since the cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on various facilities in the Gaza Strip, including hospitals, residences and places of worship. The death toll of Palestinians in the Valley has exceeded 14,000 in Israel’s indiscriminate attacks. Most of them are women and children.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the Israelis’ casualties reached 1,200 in Hamas attacks. Although at first, Israel said that 1 thousand 400 citizens died in the attack of Hamas.
