The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a comprehensive home international schedule, confirming that Sri Lanka and England will tour the country for a series of bilateral and tri-series matches between October 9 and November 21, 2026.
Sri Lanka is set to arrive in Pakistan on October 4 to begin the tour with a three-match T20I series. All three encounters are scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, running from October 9 to 13.
Following the T20Is, the focus shifts to an ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England. This tournament, which marks Pakistan’s second consecutive year hosting such an event, will be held across Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31. The PCB previously hosted New Zealand and South Africa for a similar tri-series in February 2025.
The tri-series opens in Rawalpindi on October 18 with a match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan then faces England at the same venue on October 20, followed by a clash between Sri Lanka and England on October 22. The competition then moves to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where Pakistan plays England on October 25, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on October 27. The final group stage match between Sri Lanka and England is set for October 29, with the top two teams advancing to the final at the Gaddafi Stadium on October 31.
After the conclusion of the white-ball fixtures, Sri Lanka will remain in the country for a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. This will serve as a precursor to a two-Test series, which is part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
The first Test is scheduled for November 9 to 13 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while the second Test will be hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21. This assignment represents Pakistan’s second home Test series of the current cycle, following a two-match series against South Africa held in October 2025.
The board’s announcement highlights a significant period of activity for the national team, which also has upcoming commitments including a tour of Sri Lanka for three T20Is and a series against Australia scheduled ahead of the T20 World Cup. The report also notes that pant becomes first Indian to hit 100 sixes in Tests. The report also notes that padikkal hits maiden Test 100 as India dominate Lanka. The report also notes that sarfaraz Khan to replace Sudharsan in Sri Lanka series.
