The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation regarding Israeli military raids conducted against the Abu Al Duhur Military Airbase, situated in Syria’s Idlib Governorate.
In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its firm rejection of any actions that undermine Syrian sovereignty, security, or national stability.
The ministry characterized the ongoing Israeli military operations within Syrian borders as a “flagrant violation” of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel.
Officials stressed that Israel remains legally obliged to uphold the terms of the 1974 agreement to maintain regional stability.
The UAE reiterated its support for Syria’s territorial integrity, expressing solidarity with the Syrian people while backing efforts to achieve peace, dignity, and development.
The ministry called upon the international community to take immediate, decisive steps to halt these repeated attacks and prevent further regional escalation.
Warning against actions that heighten tensions, the UAE emphasized that such strikes threaten both regional and international peace and security.
In separate regional developments, three individuals were recently killed in a blast at Syria’s Baniyas power plant, while Syria has sentenced Wassim Al Assad to death for war crimes.
