The Sharjah Police General Command recognised an Arab resident for his outstanding security awareness, community vigilance, and responsible collaboration with the security departments. This recognition underscores the essential partnership between community members and security forces, highlighting the vital role such cooperation plays in enhancing public safety and preventing criminal activity across the emirate.
In the presence of Colonel Hamid Saeed Bin Sahouh, Director of the Commercial Areas Police Department, the resident was honoured for his keen awareness and strong sense of community responsibility. After noticing suspicious activity, he remained calm and observant, promptly informing the relevant security authorities. His swift and measured action enabled the police to take necessary measures in accordance with established security protocols.
The Command underscored the crucial role that community vigilance and awareness play in supporting official security efforts. Such attentiveness by residents is a key factor that supports the prompt response to any suspicious activities. The Command lauded the resident’s responsible behaviour, noting that acknowledging his actions aligns with their commitment to celebrate positive community figures who actively contribute to public safety.
Officials further stressed that maintaining security and stability is a collective responsibility, requiring ongoing collaboration between security bodies and the active engagement of the public. They encouraged residents to call 999 for emergencies and 901 for non-urgent queries, stressing the importance of not directly confronting or intervening in situations, leaving such actions to the appropriately trained security professionals.
