Millions of devout Muslims from around the world gathered in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, reached Mina on Friday. Through this, the ritual of performing the holy Hajj began. Staying at Mina is part of Hajj.
Pilgrims set out for Hajj wearing unstitched two-piece white cloth. The whole road towards Minamukhi was full of pilgrims. The pilgrims traveled 9 kilometers from Mecca by bus, car and even on foot.
Friday 8 Zilhaj pilgrims will stay at Mina. 9 Zilhaj will perform the Fajr prayer and go to Arafat Maidan, about 14 kilometers away, and stay there until sunset. Then go to Muzdalifah about 8 kilometers away and spend the night and collect stones. 10 Zilhaj will return to Mina from Muzdalifah after Fajr prayer.
Hajira Mina will stone the big devil, offer sacrifice, shave his head. Then go to Makkah and do Tawaf of Kaaba Sharif. After Tawaf, Sai will return to Mina and stay 11 and 12 Zilhaj. They will throw stones at three devils there every day.
Each devil has to throw 7 stones. When coming from Masjid Khaif towards Makkah, Sagir or the little Satan must be stoned first in Jamara, then Osta in Jamara or Table Shaitan, then Akaba or Big Satan in Jamara. After the Mina ceremony, the pilgrims return to Mecca and perform Tawaf of the Kaaba for the last time. Which is also known as ‘Farewell Tawaf’.
