Sheikh Hamdan ordered initial salary payment for government employees ahead of Eid Al Adha 2024
Dubai government employees will receive their June salaries well – just in time for Eid-ul-Azha.
Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued a directive on Thursday saying government workers should receive their salaries on June 13.
This ensures that employees will be able to meet their needs for the festival, bringing joy to their families.
UAE residents will get up to five days off for Eid al-Adha – depending on when the moon is sighted.
Today, Saudi Arabia’s Moon Sighting Committee will be on the lookout for the crescent moon that will usher in the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. If seen today, the first day of Eid-ul-Azha is June 16. If the moon is not sighted, Eid will start from June 17.
