Pro-Palestinian protests have been raging in various universities in the United States for the past few days. However, this protest is not limited to universities or the United States.
Meanwhile, there have been reports of pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses in at least six countries around the world, including Sydney University and Melbourne University in Australia.
There have also been pro-Palestinian protests at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Pro-Palestinian protests took place on the campuses of the American University John Cairo in Egypt, Sciences Po and Sarbonne in France, the Institute of Political Studies and Sapienza University in Italy.
Pro-Palestinian protesters set up tents on Canada’s McGill University’s Quebec campus. This tent can be crushed by the police.
Protests against Israeli aggression in Gaza started a couple of weeks ago from Columbia University in New York. Later this protest spread to different universities in the United States. Tent protests are going on in the campuses.
The protesting students demand that the universities must sever ties with individuals and institutions that support the Israeli attack on Gaza. The students also demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
