8 Filipino women converted to Islam in the first three days of the holy month of Ramadan. The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has confirmed this information.
According to the organization, one of the women who converted to Islam is Kamila Iman. He said that Kamila came to the United Arab Emirates in 2014. Participated in various charity work during Ramadan.
He said, ‘I became interested in Islam. Everything about this religion fascinates me.
In 2016, Iman got an opportunity to know Islam better during a visit to Oman. Besides, his father is also a Muslim. Iman said, I can understand the concentration and devotion of Muslims during prayers.
He said, when the adhan is called, Muslims drop everything and rush to pray. Their faith is very strong. This is why I became interested in Islam.
Iman participated in various voluntary activities during the month of Ramadan. Islamic listens to many discourses, participates in discussions. One time he decided to accept Islam.
He said, I am very happy. I feel free. I can now see light all around me.
Another woman, Wilfie, recounted an almost identical experience. He said that he worked as a manager in a salon in Dubai. He became interested in Islam after coming to the Emirates in 2019. He said, “When I was working in Saudi Arabia, I noticed that all Muslims responded to the call to prayer.” Their devotion to one God impressed me.
Seeking the answer to this question, Wilfi increased his knowledge of Islam. At one time he expressed interest in accepting Islam.
Seeing him, several other activists expressed interest in Islam.
Along with Wilfie, Rafaela Suba, Jennifer Fortin, Mariana Manzano, Teresita Dadlam, Josephine Jamila and Rinalyn Dinse converted to Islam.
“I’m fasting for the first time,” Wilfie said. I don’t have any trouble. Allah has made everything easy for us. I no longer get tired working in the hot sun. This feeling cannot be expressed in words.
