The winning candidates from Punjab province in Pakistan elections took oath.
Outgoing Speaker Sibtain Khan administered the oath to the newly-elected members of the Punjab Assembly on Friday. Through this oath, the parliamentary politics of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) nominated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz began.

PML-N Malik Ahmed Khan submitted his nomination papers for the post of Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and Zaheer Iqbal Chunar applied for the post of Deputy Speaker.
