Saudi Arabia has given good news about the accommodation of Hajids this season. The country is preparing a plan for the presence of about two million people in Mecca during the Hajj season. Makkah Mayor’s office spokesman Osama Zayatuni confirmed this information.
Osama Zaytuni said that the city authorities have planned to license 4,000 buildings during Hajj this season. It is estimated that these buildings will have about five lakh rooms.
He told Al-Ekhbariya that we expect the number of Hajids to increase significantly compared to last year. According to the data, about 18 lakh pilgrims performed Hajj last year. This indicates that the number of Hajids is returning to pre-Corona times.
The spokesperson said that already 1000 buildings have been licensed in Makkah city. The number of applications is increasing gradually. According to the English year, the Arabic month of Rajab will end on February 10.
Meanwhile, changes have been made in the rules and regulations for the accommodation of Hajj pilgrims. Earlier there was specific space allotted for specific countries. However, Saudi Arabia has said that the countries that complete the Hajj process earlier will have the opportunity to stay in the appropriate place.
