Allu Arjun’s fans are waiting for the release of one of the most anticipated movies of the year ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. However, Allu Arjun made headlines with a decision before the movie even hit the theatres. The ‘Ala Baikunthapurmulu’ actor received an advertising offer of Rs 10 crore from an alcohol and betel spice brand. But, he rejected the offer.
However, this is not the first time for Allu Arjun to stand against drug products. Earlier also he had a strong stance against the promotion of narcotics. After the big success of the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, a tobacco company has reportedly made a huge offer for TV commercials. But, he politely declined that offer too.
The movie ‘Pushpa’ brought him huge stardom all over India and outside the country. Since then, Allu Arjun’s stardom has skyrocketed. So naturally its demand has increased in the advertising market. He has done several advertisements and is also earning good remuneration from them. But, he has kept himself away from advertising such products including alcohol and tobacco.
Fans think that this decision of Allu Arjun is a reflection of his values and responsibility. And he thinks it is his responsibility. He also felt that social welfare should be given priority over quick financial gains.
