Iran has warned the United States and Israel against efforts to destroy Hamas, the Palestinian independence movement that controls the besieged Gaza Strip. Tehran has warned that it is not possible to destroy Hamas and other Palestinian resistance organizations.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian issued this warning at a press conference after the meeting of foreign ministers of five countries on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
He said that just as the United States and Israel cannot destroy Hamas, it will not be possible for them to make any decision about the future of this valley. Only the Palestinians of Gaza have the right to decide the future of this valley, he said.
He made this comment at a time when Tel Aviv has been indiscriminately bombing Gaza since October 7 with the aim of destroying Hamas and freeing the Israelis held by the organization. And the US government is fully supporting Israel in this work. On the other hand, Iran is known as the main sponsor of Hamas.
Amir-Abdullahian also said that Hamas is at the peak of popularity among the Palestinian people. Iran’s foreign minister said that Hamas has a high capacity to deal with such situations. They are able to carry out reprisal attacks day and night for months to counter the brutality of the Zionists.
He said the United States ridiculously thinks it can decide on the Gaza Strip after the war. Leave Palestine to the Palestinians, Iran’s foreign minister warned Washington against making another strategic mistake in the Middle East. Otherwise, the US faces another regional defeat.
