Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait. The two officials reviewed regional developments and the current situation in the area.
During the call, both ministers issued a strong condemnation of a hostile Iranian missile attack that targeted an ADNOC tanker as it transited the Strait of Hormuz. Authorities confirmed that no injuries occurred during the incident.
Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed Kuwait’s complete solidarity with the United Arab Emirates. He further affirmed his country’s backing of all actions taken by the UAE to ensure its national security, protect its interests, and safeguard its sovereignty.
