Israeli occupation forces razed two Gaza Strips with military bulldozers after shooting dead two unarmed Palestinians on a beach in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Two unarmed Palestinians were walking on the beach. After some time one of them is seen repeatedly waving a piece of white cloth. But despite not posing any threat, the Israeli soldiers shot and killed them. Later, two bodies were buried in sand with a military bulldozer near Gaza City.
The Palestinian independence organization Hamas strongly condemned this incident. “This is further evidence of the level of fascism, the criminality of the Israeli forces that drives Zionist behavior,” the organization said.
Professor Richard Falk, UN special envoy for human rights in Palestine, said, “This incident is a burning proof of the brutality that Israeli forces are carrying out in Gaza on a daily basis.” But this is not the first time, thousands of times before, Israeli forces have opened fire on unarmed Palestinians.
Not long ago, Israeli soldiers opened fire on unarmed Palestinians waiting for relief in a relief camp in northern Gaza. On February 29, Israelis opened fire on a crowd of thousands of people desperate for food in Gaza City’s western Nabulsi roundabout as they rushed towards aid trucks. At least 112 people were killed on the spot and at least 700 Palestinians were injured in that shooting.
The same incident happened again last March. On that day, at least 9 people were killed by Israeli forces firing indiscriminately on Palestinians who were waiting for a relief truck at the Kuwait roundabout on the outskirts of Gaza City.
The Palestinian armed organization Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on the southern part of Israel on October 7. More than 1200 people were killed in the attack. 242 people were taken hostage. From that day on, the Israeli forces jumped on Gaza in a fierce counter-attack. The occupying country continues to carry out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack. The entire Gaza Strip has been reduced to rubble by Israeli attacks.
32 thousand 414 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli attack that has been going on for more than five months. And 73 thousand 934 people were injured. Almost all residents of Gaza have become refugees after losing their homes.
Meanwhile, the behavior of the Israeli forces has started to be criticized around the world. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated the threat of a ground operation in Rafah, bordering Egypt, instead of a ceasefire. Where more than 1 million displaced Palestinians have taken shelter from other areas of Gaza in the face of attacks.
