Reportedly, the original video was a video from the Get Ready With Me trend. Which was uploaded on TikTok on June 5. Rashmika, after Katrina, there was an uproar over this video.
Rashmika’s deep fake video was not less controversial. The Indian government has since issued an advisory on social media platforms, asking for immediate action against all deep fakes. Not only that, Deepfake has announced the removal of the video.
All social media platforms have also been asked to remove such content within 36 hours of filing a complaint.
