Israeli occupation forces continue to attack the besieged Gaza Strip. Hundreds of people are being killed there almost every day. Meanwhile, Qatar-based media Al-Jazeera reported that the Israeli airstrike killed the wife and two children of their Gaza correspondent.
They fled northern Gaza and sought refuge in the south. However, the Israeli army did not immediately say anything about the airstrikes.
Al Jazeera’s Gaza correspondent Wael al-Dahdouh joined the live broadcast with the bodies of his wife and son. Al-Jazeera says they have taken refuge in the Nusirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip where the Israeli airstrikes took place. At the behest of Israel, they fled the northern part of Gaza and moved to the southern part.
Al-Jazeera said in a statement, “The Al-Jazeera Media Network extends its condolences to our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh.” His family was killed in an Israeli airstrike.
Meanwhile, occupying Israeli forces stormed a three-story building just 200 meters from Nassar Hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. A major airstrike was launched around 7:30 pm local time.
At least 50 people were injured in the attack. However, the actual number of casualties is not yet certain. Several ambulances rushed to the spot to rescue the injured. Khan Yunis is south of Gaza and residents from the north have been ordered to move south. This place was supposed to be safe. But local authorities said a third of the airstrikes targeted the area.
