Sharjah: Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a distinguished member of the Sharjah royal family, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 (30 Rabi Al Awwal 1447 AH), as announced by the Office of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
In an official statement, the Ruler’s Court expressed its profound condolences to the family of the deceased and the extended Al Qasimi family. Prayers were offered for Allah Almighty to grant the late Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid eternal peace and to bless his family with patience and comfort during this time of sorrow.
A three-day mourning period has been declared in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:00 AM at King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah. Following the prayer, the burial will take place at Al Jubail Cemetery.
The Ruler’s Court reiterated its heartfelt sympathies, standing in solidarity with the bereaved family in their moment of loss.
