Five days ago, the dispute started over a land in Kurram district near the Afghanistan border. At one point, the dispute took a big shape.

Barrister Saif Ali, spokesperson for the regional government, said the administration is taking the help of senior tribal leaders to defuse tensions. He claimed that both sides have agreed to stop the conflict.
Kurram has witnessed several clashes between Shias and Sunnis in recent years. There was a dispute over land between them last July as well. Even then, several people died in the conflict.
