The situation at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis is now worse than before. Injured children, women and men are screaming for treatment on the floor, but they are not getting any service. There are no medical equipment including medicines. The Gaza Health Ministry said that hospitals will run out of fuel in three days. The blockade has cut off fuel supplies. If new fuel is not available, the hospitals will close.
The UK-based NGO Oxfam International has accused the entire world of being ‘complicit’ in the starvation of children in Gaza. Mahmoud Alsakka, Oxfam’s head of food security in the Gaza Strip, said that many aid trucks are stuck in Egypt and Jordan. World leaders cannot avoid responsibility for this situation.
Israeli attacks on Gaza continue amid the blockade. The occupation forces admitted in a report that they attacked more than a hundred targets in the Strip last week. They are identifying and detonating Hamas positions underground in Gaza during ground operations. Israel continues its operations in southern Gaza, Rafah and the Morag corridors. Air strikes are also ongoing.
At least 40 Palestinians have been killed and 25 injured in attacks on Gaza in the past 24 hours. The occupation forces killed 11 people in a bomb attack in Khan Younis on Saturday night. The Israeli war in Gaza has killed 52,535 people and injured 118,491 in the past 18 months.
Meanwhile, relatives of Hamas prisoners are participating in daily protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as Israel expands the war in Gaza. Thousands of Israelis also demonstrated outside Tel Aviv on Saturday night.
