The United Arab Emirates as well as Saudi Arabia have announced that they will not support Israel’s post-war plans in Gaza until an independent Palestinian state is established.
Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan made this position clear in a post on social media X.
He noted, “The Emirates is not ready to participate in any plan on Gaza until an independent and honest government is formed to fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people. However, if the Palestinian government is formed, the Emirates is ready to give it all support.

Saudi Arabia has said that there will be no good relations with Israel before the establishment of Palestine as an independent state. Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm position on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Prince Turki al-Faisal, the country’s former intelligence chief, said Saudi Arabia will never normalize relations with Israel until an independent Palestinian state is established.
