Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday in other countries of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
On the occasion of Eid, the employees of various countries of the Middle East including Saudi Arabia are getting a long holiday. Saudi Arabia has announced a holiday for private employees from April 9.
In total, they will get Eid leave till April 13 — a total of five days. And the country’s government officials got a holiday from April 7 to April 15. They will join work the next day from April 16.
Holidays have also been declared in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain on the occasion of Eid.
According to the announcement of the UAE government, the country’s government employees are getting a holiday from Monday to Sunday, April 14. And since Sunday and the previous Saturday are weekly holidays, the government employees of the country are getting a total of 9 days off. Private employees are getting leave from 29th Ramadan to 3rd Shawwal.
Meanwhile, Australia announced the date of Eid-ul-Fitr before the moon rise of the month of Shawwal. Residents of Australia will celebrate Eid next Wednesday (April 10).
