At least 24,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s counter-offensive in Gaza in response to a surprise attack by Hamas on October 7. In addition, about 61,000 Palestinians were injured in the attack. Among them, 132 people have been killed in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health of the country stated this information in a report on Monday
According to the report, at least 24 thousand 100 Palestinians were killed and another 60 thousand 834 were injured in the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip.
The ministry said in a statement that Israeli occupation forces carried out 12 massacres of families in the Gaza Strip, killing 132 people and injuring 252 others in the past 24 hours.
According to the United Nations, 85 percent of Gaza’s total population is already internally displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine. And 60 percent of the territory’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed by Israel’s barbaric attacks.
Earlier, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said last Sunday that “the people of Gaza are living in hell” and that “no place is safe”.
It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7 last year, Israel has continued to carry out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack.
After a week-long humanitarian truce with Hamas, Israel resumed air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip in early December. The occupation forces intensified the attack on Gaza in this operation that started after a pause.
And this continuous Israeli attack has turned Gaza into ruins.
