ABU DHABI, June 3rd, 2025 (WAM) – To commemorate Eid Al-Adha, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the pardon and release of 963 prisoners. Beyond their release, His Highness will also cover all fines levied against these inmates, who were imprisoned for a range of offenses.
This regular act of clemency during Eid Al-Adha reflects His Highness’s desire to give individuals a new chance at life, encouraging them to return to their families and communities and promoting a spirit of forgiveness and compassion throughout society.
