Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Religious Affairs (Call and Guidance of Islamic Affairs) Sheikh Abdul Latif Al Sheikh has instructed to perform the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers 15 minutes after sunrise.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Guidance has issued an instruction in this regard to the ministries of different regions of the country.
In a report, the Saudi Gazette reported that Saudi Arabia instructed Eid prayers to be performed 15 minutes after sunrise according to the Umm al-Qura calendar.
The notification sent by the ministry has highlighted the importance of making preliminary preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at designated places and mosques by ensuring maintenance, cleanliness and other necessary services.
So that the worshipers can fully perform their rituals with ease.
Preparations will be made to see the Eid moon on April 9 in all countries of the Middle East including Saudi Arabia. Ramadan is 29 or 30 days depending on the moon sighting of the month of Shawwal.
