Seven people died in a plane crash in Brazil. On Sunday (January 28), a single-engine plane crashed in Minas Gerais state of the country. Local authorities have confirmed the plane crash.
Firefighters said the plane took off from Campinas in Sao Paulo state. It later crashed in mid-air around 10:30 am local time.
The fire brigade also said that seven people were killed in the incident. But three bodies have been recovered.
Images circulating in Brazilian media showed the wreckage of the plane strewn about. The area where the plane crashed was surrounded by hills, grass and forest.
In September last year, a plane crashed in Brazil, killing 14 people. This incident happened in the Amazon forest of the country.
