In 2017, many were shocked to see Tawhid Afridi’s name trending on Google. Tawhid Afridi was the youngest among the most searched Bangladeshi players on Google Trending that year.
Meanwhile, YouTube’s verified Instagram account posted a post about Tawhid Afridi on Wednesday (January 9). The caption of the post reads, ‘Every video of Tawhid Afridi gives a glimpse of life in Bangladesh.’
Afridi shared his struggle with two screenshots of the YouTube post on his verified Facebook account. In the caption of the post, he wrote, ‘I have suffered a lot for YouTube for 13 years. I have done a lot of work and today I never thought that one of my photos will be uploaded from YouTube’s verified official page. I thought I was broken but Allah is always with those who are silent and those who are patient.’
A very excited Tawhid Afridi also wrote, ‘I woke up again today. I will come back again inshallah, will see the new blog very soon. Thanks YouTube for supporting me so much. Guess who’s back? Get ready for some new vlogs!’
Tawhid Afridi launched his YouTube channel on 3 February 2015. The channel’s videos have been viewed around 58 crores. Till now 202 videos have been posted on Tauhid Afridi YouTube channel.
