Traveling young Musdaque Chowdhury is going to perform Umrah on a motorcycle from Bangladesh. He is currently based in Dubai, the commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates. His wife Maliha is his traveling companion.
His companion on this adventurous journey is a motorcycle with Chatta metro number plates. This young man from Hathazari of Chittagong reached the United Arab Emirates on November 16 after traveling more than 16 thousand kilometers through 8 countries. On August 11, he started his journey from Chittagong to perform Umrah.
Musdaque Chowdhury first reached Calcutta through Benapole border of Jessore. He is spending 14 days in India, 26 days in Pakistan, 12 days in Afghanistan, 11 days in Tajikistan, 4 days in Uzbekistan, 26 days in Iran and currently 18 days in Emirates.
He crossed every country by road, but only Arab countries had to use Panipat to cross the motorcycle because of the lack of road facilities. He is the first person, who has traveled this far from the country on a motorcycle. But this is not the first time. He went out for Umrah in 2019 as well. Of course, he went out alone. However, Musdaque Chowdhury had to return home from Dubai despite the reluctance due to border restrictions due to Corona.
This time he visited seven provinces of United Arab Emirates. Currently in Dubai, he has been honored by Dubai Bike Riders. Due to travel, this couple has also appeared in the media of different countries, they have also received love.

When asked, Musdaque Chowdhury said that he has not faced any major obstacles or problems so far. Everything was good. As I am a traveller, my journey by bike from one country to another with my own vehicle is seen with respect by the people of every country. Everyone is supporting as much as they can, regardless of the country. And when the red and green flag is seen, more curiosity is aroused. People of many countries do not know about Bangladesh, I told them about Bangladesh. For example, many people in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan do not know Bangladesh. Telling them about Bangladesh.
He said, when I am traveling in the country, whenever I meet the local people, I try to talk about my country. I have also learned and heard a lot about their country. Each country has a different culture and tradition. New experience. Met new people. In countries like Iran where no one knew my totality. I didn’t know anyone in such a big country. But now I have made very good friends in every city. In a short visit many people have developed deep relationships.
Regarding his stay in the Emirates, he said, he feels better after coming to the Emirates. Coming here, I am getting such a big Bengali community, it is not worth saying. Huge Bangladeshi community. I can speak Bengali here. Even after being out of the country for almost 4 months, coming here and meeting Bangladeshis is really a big deal for me.
Muhammad Musdaque Chowdhury is the son of Muhammad Muhiuddin Chowdhury of Najumia Hat Burischer area of Hathazari Upazila of Chittagong. He is the eldest among two brothers and three sisters.
